Since none did yet, seems propitious of someone unlikely to do-so, actually do-so, hence, I'm sharing this left-over piece of something in order to inaugurate this forum portion. Not much to say 'bout it other than such being one in a number of pre-planned exercises conceived last year within very autistically-specific rulings/limits with the prime intention of concretizing/illustrating a few theoretical points I've madeth when talking to this norse fella on discord after (somehow) managed to convince such a person in changing mapping habits while preaching-him the 'stricly-vanilla gospel'. Now, such a bit, repurposed for this.. uh.. late CPAC '24 opening? Dunno, whatever may be it. Also, nothing further. • screenshots • point-and-click adventure

Any way to tell Doomkid (or who runs doomshack hosting nowadays) to renew his certificates for https? Firefox doesn't want to open it, I can circumvent protection, but would rather not to.

i circumvented protection w/ ("hardened") firefox just fine l0l. anyway: i liked the gimmick, how busy it was at times, the progression etc. my brain was even more on life support than usual when playing this (because of circumstances outlined elsewhere), but it didn't prove much of an obstacle, though it will if i'm ever planning to open the editor myself. glhf

doomshack.org/uploads/attila_rthritis.lmpDamn, it is a long time since I've played a pwad for first doom, so I've used a bit wrong setup. I recorded my demo in dsda-doom, but used wrong -complevel, the one for Doom II. So vanilla won't play back this demo. Dsda-doom should, though. It does feature deaths, and getting to the final area was challenging (on timing), but I've made it to the end. Notable that the first time I didn't die in the starting area, I died in the next one, so I found that barrel and monster placement well thought out. Lack of lightning variation, though. Guess it's a vanilla thing.

Nice little cramped map. All the inaccessible shitgunners (I'm leaving that typo) were quite dickish in a 'good' way. I also may be one of the few people who actually enjoy chainsawing cacos so that was a plus for me.
